Eat, Pray, Eat, Love, Eat

I'll start this blog by thanking "Belkin_G_wireless_router," I'm not sure who you are, but you have been vital in my access to this blog because my linksys router has decided to boycott giving me access to the internet...stupid thing...your day is coming....

Anyhow, tonight I saw Eat, Pray, Love. I enjoyed it thoroughly, so thoroughly I am contemplating reading the book, which would more than likely gnaw away at my psyche because I saw the movie BEFORE reading the book. This goes against the universal law of reading the book before the movie, so maybe I'll pretend I've read it, and proceed to read all the other un-read books above my bed...that way everything will be right with the universe and I won't die some horrible, tragic, obscene death because I didn't turn the light switch on and off 7.5 times or didn't lock and unlock the dead bolt 8.

Back to the movie. I wish I were that brave. I would love to jet-set far away by myself and experience no inhibitions. Those of you reading this who REALLY know me know that that would never happen because of my insatiable need to control EVERY aspect of my life, and the fact that I hate heat, the outdoors, bugs, sweating, etc. In regards to the same subject, don't know how much praying and loving I'd do...not very keen on having someone else sleep in the bed with me....I get very hot very easily and like to stretch out across the whole bed. Not very inviting and a tad rude, not to mention unattractive..."Oh, good morning! Excuse me let me move my foot from your face...." yeah I'll pass....

I'm not going to even touch on praying....I pray, don't get me wrong. But what I believe is no one else's business but me and Oprah's.

Now eating...I eat ALOT. I love to eat. I would go to all those countries and more and try all their different cuisines. I related alot to that part, and was so incredibly jealous of her Italian feasts throughout the movie. THAT would be the trip for me...a culinary tour of Europe, YES PLEASE!

Well, I'm done boring you people who read this...though I doubt there are any...

Good night world of blog...until next post!

So I've decided to start a blog...

So, first of all let me begin by explaining my inspiration to start blogging. I know what you all are thinking, "Isn't he too busy to blog, with graduate school, etc.??" Well, to answer your question/concern, "You are 100% correct!", which is why you may not be seeing many posted blogs, just a few here and there.

I figured that maybe if I had a place to write my thoughts/experiences/things in my life that only happen to me, it may provide an outlet...a type of relief to supplement my daily occurrences.

One of the pivotal points at which I saw blogging as a very useful tool was during the movie, "Julie and Julia." No, I will not be blogging about cooking through Julia's Mastering the Art of French Cooking....graduate school, remember! I just thought it'd be fun to post on a website other than facebook about my thoughts/opinions. By the way, my opinions of some things are very strong and may make their way to this blog; therefore, if you are even remotely ski-dish towards brutal honesty this is not the blog for you.

This post will not contain these types of remarks, since I am pretty content at the moment and have no strong opinions about anything in particular at the moment...though I am a bit hungry...

I can't think of anything else to say...until next blog! :)
